The Clean Cities Coalition Network is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Founded in 1993 by the U.S. Department of Energy, Clean Cities is a network of more than 75 local coalitions that work to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from transportation. The organization has built bi-partisan support and has partnerships with 20,000 public and private stakeholders.
Over the past 30 years, Clean Cities has helped to develop and implement a number of innovative clean transportation programs. The organization is is well-positioned to continue its work to reduce transportation pollution and promote clean transportation solutions in urban, suburban, and rural communities.
