Long Beach Clean Cities stakeholder, the City of Long Beach, has been recognized by Heavy Duty Trucking as a 2022 Top Green Fleet. The city is among the greenest fleets in the country and only one of two government fleets that made the list.
The Top Green Fleets are selected for their sustainability efforts in categories such as fleet electrification; alternative and renewable fuels; cleaner-burning engines; and fuel efficiency.
Earlier this fall, the city was recognized as the No. 2 National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) Green Fleet. The Green Fleet award is a nationally renowned accolade that is given to public sector operations who execute revolutionary and innovative green initiatives.
